9 Tips for Generating Leads

While digital marketing is everywhere, print is still an integral part of your marketing strategy. 

One of the most effective and cost effective print advertising tools is the postcard.  These can yield both short and long-term results for your business.  Formatted well, they:

  • Increase email traffic

  • Web registrations

  • Added call volume

  • They don't need opening

  • They capture attention

  • Design visually.
    Use consistency in your branding with logos, colors, layout and font.  Your ability to save jobs on our site and quickly edit them to reuse makes that easy! Consider font size for legibility for all readers. Use no more than 2-3 fonts in any print job, this keeps your message consistent.

  • Be accurate. 
    Ensure your contact information is easily found and is accurate.

  • Target your audience. 
    Decide the type of client you want.  Selling or buying?  First-time or experienced high-end buyer?  Once you do that, solve their problem.  Help them see how you solve a problem they are facing.

  • Find the right frequency.
    Don't annoy your audience with too much mail, no one likes that. Shoot for once a month. Review the response you get and adjust to suit.

  • Be Consistent. 
    Timing, and frequency are important, but so is consistency.  It puts you in charge of your message and your brand -- and your bottom line. 

  • Be simple.
    Be simple and real.  People respond to marketing that is relevant to their lives. Give them a specific action item, but don't overwhelm them with too much information.

  • Keep it above board.
    Be real - but don't misrepresent, a guaranteed way to lose clients.  Most "URGENT" mailings are not.  Make sure your mailings engender trust.  

  • Follow up.
    When someone reaches out as a result of your mailer, be sure to follow up quickly.
